The Collector’s Pouch: A Deep Dive

First edition of Studio In Progress Collector's Pouches laid out

The idea for this product dates back to a beach trip in early 2024, collecting beach finds for a project my partner was working on. I found myself holding wet shells and seaweed in my cold hands, because they were too soaked to put in my bag.

This one is heavily inspired by my home of Brighton and the people closest to me, and how much we love to comb the beach looking for treasures. Prototypes of this product have accompanied us on all kinds of adventures, including fossil hunting and foraging.

This bag took about a year to get to its finished form. I am, as we know, very particular, and wanted this to be as functional as possible, so there were a fair few drafts.

But I think the Collector’s Pouch has turned out to be everything I wanted it to be - small and compact, easy to attach to the outside of your bag or belt loop, and highly functional.

The first blue tent edition sold out fairly quickly, so a restock is in the works.
